RECAP OF SEPTEMBER

And that was September. With October I always have the feeling that fall is coming and that I have to put my sweaters and comfy knitwear back in my closet. I did. My shorts and summer T-Shirts are far away in a box, but I am secretly hoping that I need them one day. Even if it is one day. Fingers crossed!

WITH OLYMPUS

Photo 1, 6, 7, 8 shot with the new Olympus OM-D E-M1

Last week I had the opportunity to test the new Olympus OM-D E-M1 and the Pen E-P5. It was an event for bloggers, cause Olympus thinks that the new cameras are perfect for bloggers. They have a good size so you can take it with you easily. Something different than my Canon. The quality of the photos and what you can do with the Olympus is the same as a DSLR. Maybe even better. There is also Wi-Fi on it so you can edit and post your photos immediately. Before we could test the cameras we had a little introduction and workshop from photographer Brendan de Clercq. He showed us photos from behind the scenes of Amsterdam Fashion Week and photo shoots that he shot with the Olympus Pen E-P5, I was surprised. The photos were so professional, ok he is a photographer, but I never thought that you could do that with an Olympus Pen.

Olympus was right, these are the perfect cameras for a blogger. One day you'll be mine :)

STREETS OF AMSTERDAM

The day that we took these photos I had the opportunity to test the new Olympus OM-D E-M1. I will tell you about the event soon, but it was a-ma-zing! These photos are different from color than usual, some a bit blurry. But this camera was totally new for me and Wendy, who took the photos :). 

By the way, how pretty is my new bag from Persunmall. Never thought that I would buy a red bag. I am happy de peppy with it haha. Perfect size and something totally different!

I was so happy with this outfit, until I saw the photos. That is why I made a short selection, which was very hard. My camera settings were wrong, so some photos were blurry or bad lighting. Hope you still like it :) What I love is the flower print on the tartan. Just a little print on print.

THE BIG U

Last week it was time for The Big U, an event by U-PR. It was for me the first time, but last year I heard that this the best and amazing bloggers event ever! And it was. You could take pictures in the photobooth, my favorite part, getting your make-up done by MAC, eating cupcakes at Tiffany & Co, customizing your own UGG minis and there was also a disco bingo. A day full of fun. Thank you U-PR for the amazing event :)

CROWDED STREET

That is a big teeth smile! I guess there was something fun going on. Can not remember, but this was the outfit that I was wearing to Vogue Fashion's Night Out. Already two weeks ago! A busy Pc Hooftstraat that evening.

Online shoppen is onwijs populair, ook ik doe het want het is makkelijk en snel. Op een avond kijken of er nog wat leuks is, zo ja dan klik ik het in mijn winkelmandje. Yesterday I told you guys that I have my project today. I am a bit scared cause it is very personal. These photos belong to the project too, cause I did a little behind the scenes of how I make my outfit posts, the outfit, the photos and the edit etc. It will be a long day from 08.30 till 17.30 but Friday I have a day off. That is very nice! Next week I am in Eindhoven, for the next project that I have for school. Need to restyle the Dutch 'Glamcult' paper, very excited! I will tell more about that later, for now wish me luck again...

TARTAN PANTS

H&M tartan pants

I thought that I was over the tartan hype. Until I saw this pants hanging. The golden zippers are not my thing but I can cover that with a shirt or sweater you know. I still had no reason to not buy this pants. It fits good, a little bit loose, but that is just something different than my daily skinny jeans. Still no reason.  I may wear it a few times, cause I do not wear print things a lot, but this print is different. Tartan I fell in love with you again. There was still no reason. Nothing came up in my mind, so I bought it. An outfit post soon!

Today is a day full of stress for me, it is the last day that I can work on my project for school. You had to make a product that tells something about you. That could be a small movie, poster, photo or something totally different. I heard that people were building a closet! Curious what my other classmates have. I will tell about my inner with a video, the girl who looks confident, always happy and not shy at all. Well that is the outside. A lot of people think that when you have a blog and you post photos of yourself that you are confident and stand strong in your shoes. Not really. The last few years it grows and I am not that shy anymore. But I still have my days that I am very quiet and that I am unsure of what I wear. What do people think of me... That sort of stuff. I already know that I have to say to myself 'fuck what other people think', since two years I finally believe that haha. Wish me luck for tomorrow! And maybe I will post the video on the blog.. it is very personal so I doubt a bit :)

Ok I am doing a little dance. Since a couple of weeks I have got a new lens for my camera. A Canon EF 50mm 1.8. And I am so so happy with it! These are the first outfit photos that I shot with the lens and they are so much sharper and brighter. I shot these photos at Roest Amsterdam after the C&A event. Amazing location.
