RECAP OF AUGUST

Wow hello September (ok, one day left). But it still went fast right? The weather went from beautiful to horrible, so I started to layer my outfits more. Pick a favorite of my recap of August, Curious what your favorite outfit was that month.

RAINY AMSTERDAM

Rain and Amsterdam. You may think, oh so horrible. But I have to admit, Amsterdam is still pretty. And when you walk with an umbrella through all the small pretty streets it feels good. I was wearing that day again layers. Love layering and with this weather it is the perfect solution. Went with my friend Ro to our all time favorite restaurant 'Dante' to have some drinks. To end the day we went to McDonalds, because she wanted that so bad! I am open for everything, but I now know again that it is damn disgusting. I am on the healthy tour again!

A blond high ponytail and a leopard blazer. Definitely fits the name Sjonnie. It is weird that I wear outfits that I also was wearing when it was winter last year. Yesterday I really wanted to wear a skirt, but I do not want to wear tights already. Come on, it feels for me that the last day of summer still has to come. So I keep waiting. And waiting. By the way I am curious what you think of this hairstyle. My opinion, when I have to be honest, I really like that when I have my hair in a ponytail my jawline looks better.

IS IT FALL

Is it fall already? It is cold outside, every 10 minutes there comes a bunch of water out of the sky. Which makes me not so happy. It feels like summer is over and that I have to grab my winter sweaters from the back of my closet. So here is my all black outfit, again. You may will see that very often these days. When I want to wear all black I can not, because the sun was shining and the temperature was damn hot. But when I want to wear a super floral dress, it is raining cats and dogs. Why? It is so not fair. How are you dressing these days?

SNEAK PEEK

Sneak peek time! Last week I received new boots by DUO.  I was super curious how they would look and I could not wait to show them to you. Since the weather act like it is fall, I can wear them. I am usually a big fan of ankle boots, but there is a new trend coming. Long boots! Of course I had to pick these, cause my closet is full of ankle boots. A little different and so I can choose (and long boots make your legs longer). Life is so much easier then. So tell me girls, what do you think? Tomorrow the full outfit will be online. Stay tuned!

These boots are so my favorite at the moment. I can not believe how awesome they look with the chain. Ok let's stop talking about it! Otherwise it will be a super long story. At the moment I am in Sint Pancras City haha. A very small town in Alkmaar. Went there for a fun weekend at my best friend Ro. Sometimes you need to get out of your own city. It is so refreshing!

PUT A CHAIN ON IT

Remember the 'plastic fantastic' boots? Here they are with a chain. Some said it would look cool, other said I had to keep the boots clean and simple. So I chose that I can pull on and off the chain. Just how my mood is that day. And how awesome is the black color? Let me know your opinion.

BACK TO BLACK

H&M trench coat, shoulder bag - Primark jeans - Forever 21 hat - Groenrijk boots

Aah an almost black outfit! Feels so good to wear my black jeans again. Have to admit I really like summer, but shorts are not my favorite to wear. Black jeans, black long coat I am loving it. It feels powerful and strong. By the way, what do you think of the boots? Yesterday I also bought a chain, a black one haha. Posted a sneak peek on my Instagram profile and I am curious what you think.

PLASTIC FANTASTIC

You can call me crazy, but I found a great pair of boots. You may think 'oh they look nice'. But when you know where I bought them, you think again. There is a trend coming with shiny, lacquer texture on shoes. Almost bought a super expensive pair of chelsea boots who had it. But I thought twice thankfully. Yesterday I was with my mom at a store (Groenrijk) which sells plants, pets, home accessories and other green stuff for the garden. (Some Dutch people will know it) And also rain boots! You all know the dark green and long rain boots right? They now sell ankle boots, well it is new for me! They got the shiny thing that I like and the price was very nice too. Let me repeat VERY nice! To give these boots a little extra I want to add a chain. What do you think? Is it a yay or a nay? I really had to share this tip for you, I mean plastic fantastic right. Want a pair of cheap, shiny ankle boots. Find a store that sell rain boots! 

Of course I will post an outfit with them as soon as possible :)

OLD STRIPES

Persunmall blazer - Adidas t-shirt - New Yorker shorts (old) - H&M slip-ons, shoulder bag

Old stripes on my shorts. Keep finding items in the back of my closet, great to create new outfits. Bought this shorts more than 5 years ago, maybe even more, but it still fits! I am a happy girl.
